Anyone who is interested in hot rod and custom movement in the Russian Federation and in the world ... welcome!

Hi all! I always had a dream to have a huge American rework ... with a big engine ... It came true ...) on my head

Bought a Chevy '54 BelAir Hard Top.

I found it in the Moscow region ... a granny about 80 years old had docks ... and a guy had one car (from whom his father-in-law bought it on trust 20 years ago) ... I had to buy in parts)

The name is beautiful, but here is what was left of it ... and now I didn’t understand what to do with it. Initially, I completed the purchase and sale, received the TCP ... I started looking for where to fix it ... half a year passed ... I found a private master in Zhukovsky ... I took him to him and work began ...

I wanted to share such impressions ... I'm happy as an elephant ...

The purchase was from a series at first I bought it then I thought … the benefit was the opportunity and the price seems to be adequate … + the car is not collective farm … almost complete … but time has done its job.

I see it in LeadSleds…Moonglow style. With a lowered roof on airbags, etc ...)

the Chip Foose project (orange car in the photo) was taken as a basis for a long time even looking for disks like on it, I had to make it to order

-------------

What has been done:

— designed and welded a new frame

-the whole body was cleaned and welded (as it turned out it was already being repaired 20 years ago and thank God!) otherwise it might not live up to me) ... how well they actually did in those days

-digested the entire body for new units

-assembled rear axle from the police officer Chevlole Caprice

-front from Chevy Malibu

-bought, moved the engine from Suburban 7.4 (all the chrome on it is already in the garage)

-box from Chevy Van

-discs to order from USA 20 radius

-air suspension (Dakota Digital controller), Firestone airbags

-tachy brakes

-selected color Candy Red (dark red) even black and red

-made Chop Top (lower roof) 3 cm front and 5 cm rear

-a bunch of spare parts bought in the USA ... various chrome and hidden things

- car painted

- I know relatively history ... since the 70s in the USSR ... I was in the family of a Kremlin signalman and a grandmother who designed rockets in the Queen of the Moscow Region (former Kaliningrad) ...

they bought it in a thrift store from an American embassy worker ...

Does not belong to clubs

Lone wolf!)))
