Ура! Новый Caterham появился! А вот и не угадали. Это BIRKIN. Первый раз слышите? Ничего страшного. Я тоже до недавнего времени…В России их всего 2 или 3, вроде. В Москве по-моему нет.В мире существуют только две компании, продолжающих выпускать Super Seven, бережно храня и лелея ценности провозглашенные когда-то Колином Чепмэном. Это Caterham и BIRKIN. Именно поэтому они очень похожи. Конечно же, никто не будет спорить, что Caterham – это самый раскрученный брэнд, воспроизводящий Super Seven. И первое тому подтверждение, это то, что мне пришлось встать здесь на сайте под его знаменем.Впрочем, вернемся к BIRKIN.Собираются эти автомобили сейчас в Южной Африке, Англии, США, Австралии, Швеции и Японии. Начинаю постройку, так как денег на летнюю дрифт машину нет, попробую сделать ее сам, двигатель будет вначале вазовский, а потом может быть какой то помощнее. Пластик буду делать по матрицам из пеноплекса

в 2004 году автомобиль был заказан в Англии у компании Westfied. сразу на заводе мы попросили что бы рулевую колонну и приборную панель адаптировали под нормальную езду ( не так как в Англии руль в бордочке ). примерно через месяц оформления документов и прохождения всех платежей автомобиль был в Финляндии на границе. еще через неделю 2 коробки добрались до Москвы. Собирал автомобиль лично я и мой брат на все про все ушло примерно 2 недели …скрывать не буду не все сразу проходило гладко так как автомобиль пришлось собирать зеркально — руль то в инструкции с другой стороны, соответственно все компанировка рейка- двигатель должны быть противоположно сопоставлены. но это не самое страшное как оказалось на первый взгляд… больше всего времени мы потратили проводя проводку — примерно 2-3 дня. следующая проблема с которой мы столкнулись это были колеса. мы не стали их заказывать в Англии потому что с растоможкой они здесь выходили золотыми. поэтому купили обычные промовские колеса- единственные которые пошли нам по креплениям и радиусу. сделали сход развал что тоже оказалось не легким делом. ну и соответственно после двух недель лего- конструирования авто выехало в свой первый заезд. прошло 5 лет до сих пор катаюсь и очень доволен. если хотите увидеть в живую- когда хорошая погода с вероятностью в 80% я вечером на смотре…

in 2004 the car was ordered in England from Westfied. right at the factory, we asked that the steering column and dashboard be adapted for normal driving (not like in England the steering wheel is in a burgundy). after about a month of paperwork and the passage of all payments, the car was in Finland at the border. a week later 2 boxes reached Moscow. My brother and I personally assembled the car for everything about everything, it took about 2 weeks ... I won’t hide it, not everything went smoothly right away, since the car had to be assembled in a mirror - the steering wheel is in the instructions on the other side, respectively, all the layout of the rail-engine should be oppositely matched. but this is not the worst as it turned out at first glance … we spent most of the time conducting the wiring — about 2-3 days. the next problem we encountered was the wheels. we did not order them in England because with customs clearance they came out gold here. so we bought the usual promo wheels, the only ones that went to us in terms of fastenings and radius. made similarity collapse that also turned out to be not an easy task. and, accordingly, after two weeks of lego-construction, the car left for its first race. 5 years have passed and I still ride and am very satisfied. if you want to see it live, when the weather is good, with a probability of 80%, I’m at the show in the evening ...
